Problem Description: With ANSYS R13 License Manager on Linux lmgrd does not start and no log file is created. Attempting to run by command line returns: -bash: ./lmgrd: No such file or directory Comments: ANSYS upgraded to a newer version of FLEXlm (11.8) at 13.0 and FLEXlm changed their Linux (32 and x64) SDKs to require Linux Standard Base (LSB). Resolution: This is caused by your Linux system not having the Linux Standard Base (LSB) package. You will need to find the RPM for this package and install it. |
