Switching off the octal tree search for particle injections solves a segmentation problem with a File Injection.
A correctly formatted injection file produces a segmentation error when the injection/list command is issued or when a particle track is requested. This appears to be happening under Solaris 8 and it is not reproducible under Linux. The following command (rpsetvar 'dpm/nd-point-search? #f) which switches the octal tree search for particle injections appears to solve the problem. This advise was found in CR 16285 but it seems to be applicable here which is slightly different. |
