Invalid working directory value= Settings<username>


Problem Description: Running Distributed ANSYS 12.0 with spaces in the working directory causes ANSYS 12.0 to Crash.

When running from the Product Launcher the following error will be displayed:

A fatal error has occured on the ANSYS command line.
Please review the Output Window for information.

When running from the Command Prompt, the following errors will be displayed in the window:

C:Documents and Settings<username>"C:Program FilesANSYS Incv120ANSYSbinwinx64
ansys120.exe" -g -p ane3fl -dis -mpi HPMPI -np 6 -dir "C:Documents and Setting
s<username>" -j "file" -s read -l en-us -t -d win32
HP-MPI licensed for Ansys.

*** FATAL ***
Invalid working directory value= Settings<username>
(specified working directory does not exist)

*** NOTE ***
USAGE: C:Program [-d device name] [-j job name] [-m scratch memory(mb)]
*** FATAL ***
Invalid working directory value= Settings<username>
(specified working directory does not exist)

*** NOTE ***
USAGE: C:Program [-d device name] [-j job name] [-m scratch memory(mb)]

Invalid working directory value= Settings<username>
(specified working directory does not exist)

AND OTHER ERRORS!

Problem Resolution: Use a Working directory without spaces in the name.
