WISH Application Error when trying to launch ANSYS Icepak


Problem Description: When trying to launch Icepak you receive a WISH Application Error

Resolution:
Check the license file in the C:Program FilesANSYS Incv120Icepaklicense directory and make sure it has the correct name for the license server after the word, SERVER.
If not run the Icepak Client License Setup again and enter in the correct name of the license server.

If you have a triad license server setup (three servers) check the license.dat file and make sure it is formatted correctly.

If after making these changes you still encounter the wish application, attach the following to your Service Request.

1.A copy of the System and Application Event logs. Go to the Control Panel, Administrator Tools, Event Viewer, Windows Logs. Right click on the application and system log and then email them as attachments.

2.A copy of the license.dat file from the C:Program FilesANSYS Incv120Icepaklicense directory.

3.A copy of the license.log file from the license server.

4.A copy of your System Information
a.Click on the Start Menu, Programs, Accessories, System Tools.
b.Choose System Information .
c.Click on the File Menu, Save.
d.Choose a Filename and a location to save the file. Make sure you are saving the file as a System Information File .NFO
