switching solver gives segmentation error
After you get a converged solution from segregated solver, if you switch from segregated solver to coupled solver, you may get segmentation error. 1) Use interpolation file to write out an interpolation file using the converged solution (File->Interpolate) 2) Switch solver 3) Use the interpolation file to initialize the flow (File->Interpolate) 4) Continue calculation with coupled solver Switching from seg solver to coupled solver usually fails or results in certain divergence. To be successful, set the Pop to 0 when using the seg solver. Then, the switch to coupled solver is often fine. |
