Error: sopenoutputfile: unable to open file for output
Error Object: "c:tempkill-fluent1500"

Problem Description: Fluent 6.1.18 upon startup is designed to write a kill script to the C:temp directory. On Windows 2000 and XP systems the C:temp directory does not exist. It use to exist on Windows NT and on all earlier versions of Windows. The temp and tmp directory on these two platforms are located in the %USERPROFILE%Local SettingsTemp directory, subsequently when Fluent 6.1 opens up and if there is no C:temp directory the above error message appears.

Therefore, a case and/or data file cannot be opened until this kill script is written.
Create a C:temp directory

This has been fixed with the release of Fluent 6.1.22 which can be downloaded from the Fluent Users Service Center, <a target=_blank href="http://www/fluentusers.com">http://www/fluentusers.com</a>http://www/fluentusers.com
