Unable to read the cmd header on the pmi context, generic socket failure, error stack
When reading in a .cas and/or .dat file in parallel you receive the following error or similar error:
unable to read the cmd header on the pmi context, generic socket failure, error stack: MPIDU_Sock_wait(####): The specified network name is no longer available. (errno 64). received suspend command for a pmi context that doesn't exist: unmatched id = 1 *Resolution* There is a known problem in reading the data in chunks in FLUENT 6.3.26 under certain conditions. This has been resolved in FLUENT 12. As a workaround you need to set the following scheme command in the FLUENT window before you read your case and data file in: (rpsetvar 'parallel/data-read-write-in-chunks? #f) |
