Shell Conduction in Parallel

FLUENT gives error when I try to turn on shell conduction option in parallel mode. First you need to activate the shell conduction in the serial solver. You then partition the case after activating the shell conduction Boundary Condition. The reason for this is that the shell conduction zones are placed in a single partition. So, to fix your model, simply read the case into the serial solver, activate the shell conduction BC, re-partition the case as required, save it again, then read it into the parallel solver. Note:-If you have partioned the case on 2 nodes (CPUs) then you must read it in 2 partitions. |
