Software installer on PC - recursive warning when the C drive is full

On a PC, warnings are recursively generated when the C drive is full, even if the installation is ordered on another drive.
The installer does not explicitely use anything in C: if the destination is somewhere else. The installer software may use a temporary area to store its own information while doing the installation. This is typically from the default C: drive. The destination may either be specified through the "TEMP" environment variable or directly (system may also use C: for swap and other purposes during this operation). The user may try to set the TEMP variable to another drive with more disk space and see if this fixes.
