Is is possible to change the time between backups of the FDPOST (results) file?

The user would like to save the results more (or less) frequently. By default, FIDAP automatically backs up the results in the FISOLV.#### scratch directory to ident.FDPOST in the working directory every 7200 CPU seconds. The time can be changed on the system command prompt (outside FIDAP) as follows: PC: set FISOLV_UPDATEDB = 7200 Unix/Linux: setenv FISOLV_UPDATEDB 7200 This environment variable must be set before the job is launched. It is not advisable to make this time too small. |
