POLYFLOW - a "frozen" free surface with sub-models still moves. What can be done ?

Some applications require the definition of a frozen free surface, by means of a sub-model (with vanishing velocities). This can be the case for the study of a fixed contact for non-conformal meshes. Here, most likely, a Thompson remeshing algorithm will be invoked. Despite the sub-model, the free surface can sometimes move and be deformed.
A first remedy consists of assigning fixed positions at one or several borders of the free surface. This does not generate further troubles, since it would anyway be expected that the free surface do not move.
A second remedy consists of assigning an extra sub-model on the coordinates.
