POLYMAT - curve display : points are not properly ordered

A curve file created on a UNIX machine contains a sequence of points in a particular ordering. On a PC, this ordering is not reproduced on the graphic, e.g. in POLYMAT. When copying the curve into a new file, the difference between the original file and the newly created one are more than just formatting issues. This may result from control characters, whose interpretation differs on a PC and on a UNIX. The remedy consists of changing the format, with the command % ux2dos input_file > output_file This is valid for other versions of the software. |
