1. How do I know whether a calculation is performed in single or double precision? 2. How can I change this? 1. The listing file (long version) reports messages as follows (ignore the numbers here): Solver memory Memory requirement before elimination : 73.7 Mbytes Memory for factorized matrix (single prec.) : 2.5 Mbytes Memory for Schur Complements (double prec.) : 0.0 Mbytes The item "Memory for factorized matrix" should be considered. The precision used is mentionned in parentheses. 2. The double precision is enabled when the keyword DBUFFER is added into the .p3rc file to be used for the POLYFLOW calculation. The single precision is enabled when the keyword DBUFFER is removed from the .p3rc file. This can also be adjusted as a POLYFLOW option in POLYMAN. |
